PVSketch is a proposal and sales enablement tool designed for sales professionals and developers working in the residential and commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) development. The software streamlines the early stages of project development by enabling rapid system modeling, visualization, and customer-facing proposal generation. We have built the tool to be intuitive and easy-to-use for business development, early stage engineering, and project planning.
You can get started for free, using PVSketch to design your next residential or commercial solar project. Simply enter a user name and password and then identify the project address. Site imagery will automatically download from Google Maps. The PVSketch software is easy to use with no training required. - Solar Design – Supports both pitched, ground, and flat roof configurations. Includes access to multiple racking systems, thousands of modules, and layout configurations.
- Energy Estimates – Preliminary energy production estimates with 3D shading losses and TSRF analysis.
- Proposal Generation – Creates customer-ready proposals that include: System design visuals, Expected energy production values, Detailed economic analysis (payback period, savings, ROI, etc.)
- Workflow Integration – Proposals created in PVSketch can be seamlessly imported into PVCAD for advanced engineering, once imported, users can create a full permit plan set that meets the requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and the serving utility.
